A recent commission I finished. I tried out a new colouring technique with this (like I do with pretty much every new piece I colour :P). I had a few teething problems with it, but I think if I can get it down it’ll be an interesting one try out!

A commission for a friend’s steampunk jewelry line, the request was “Some tank girl-ish steampunk fitty”, so I hope I delivered :P

Steampunk lady doodles, working out the pose for a commission.  

Sorry I’ve been quiet! I was in London over the weekend being far too irresponsible for my own good. 

Not much art happened whilst I was away but here, have a very loose sketch for part of a series that I’ve been working on over a couple of years of illustrating my girlfriend’s various DnD characters. Not liking her outfit / pose so I’m gonna rework it. 

Oh, and below is the original sketch I came up with for her. It didn’t fly, which is a shame. I thought it had potential!

WIP is WIP-ey

Present-to-be for the fine old gal that is my mother. She likes Chinese things and tea (and also Chinese tea) so this was the inevitable result. Though, to be honest, she’s ended up looking more and more Mongolian the more I’ve developed this but her birthday is too close for revisions. And I like it as it is. So whatever.

EDIT: I should probably point out that this isn’t meant to be my mother, just a random little Chinese tea trader :)
